Linda Pham, OD, FAAO
Meet Dr. Pham – Doctor at Boston Vision’s Wellesley and Medford offices
Dr. Pham received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She received her Doctorate of Optometry at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Her clinical training includes the Whiteriver PHS Indian Hospital in AZ and the Southeast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) in Juneau, AK through Indian Health Services (IHS). She completed a Residency in Ocular Disease and Low Vision/Acquired Brain Injury Rehabilitation at the West Haven VA Connecticut Healthcare System. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.
Dr. Pham is a former Assistant Professor of Clinical Optometry at the New England College of Optometry (NECO) and an Attending Optometrist and Martha Eliot at Boston Children’s. She has also served as a staff optometrist at the VA Central Western Massachusetts Healthcare System in Worcester, MA. Dr. Pham has spent time in private practice, commercial, and rural village settings in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Alaska.
Dr. Pham is passionate about working with underserved patient populations. Through Volunteer Optometric Service to Humanity (VOSH), she served on an international eye care mission trip to Peru and coordinated an eye care mission to Belize. Dr. Pham was featured in the Association of Schools and Colleges of Optometry (ASCO)’s “Optometry Gives Me Life” National Campaign. She serves on the Board of the Massachusetts Society of Optometrists as the Boston District and Membership Committee Chair.
Dr. Pham performs comprehensive eye exams, manages ocular disease, and co-manages patients alongside Ophthalmologists for cataract surgery and refractive surgery. Her primary interests include retinal disease, the ocular manifestations of systemic disease, glaucoma management, and retinal imaging with spectral domain optical coherence tomography (OCT). In her free time, Dr. Pham enjoys hiking, Bikram yoga, martial arts, and annual trips to Alaska.
