I had an excellent experience with LASIK. The staff was extremely helpful and comforting throughout the entire process. The procedure itself took about 10 minutes and I was in and out of the office in 2 hours. Ive worn contacts for over 10 years and have suffered from dry eye. Going into the procedure, I was very nervous that my eyes would be much drier after the surgery. Surprisingly that wasn't the case at all. I did experience some burning, blurriness, and tearing immediately after the surgery, but took some extra strength Tylenol right away. When I woke up from the 4 hour nap my vision was pretty clear and there was no pain whatsoever. I spent most of that day napping or with my eyes closed. For the first few days, I used the artificial tears religiously every hour or two. My vision seemed nearly perfect within a day or so. When I went for my 3 day follow up I had 20/15 vision. Its such a great feeling to wake up every day with perfect vision and not have to put contacts in. Im truly amazed. My only regret is that I did not get LASIK sooner. Highly recommend Boston Vision. I thought I would be wearing glasses for the rest of my life until I got this LASIK. LASIK itself was quick and pretty painless with a quick recovery time. It was a total life changer. Now I can live with out glasses.

I have had a very good experience with Boston Vision. They performed a thorough evaluation and re-checked some of my measurements for an ultimate recommendation of PRK. I did seek a second opinion at another facility following my initial consultation who recommended LASIK. It was very easy to set up a follow-up phone call with Dr. Brenner to discuss my measurements and answer my questions, and after discussion, we agreed that LASIK would be reasonable and safe for my situation.There were very clear videos and instructions of what to expect on the day of surgery and how to prepare for surgery. On the day of surgery, I had repeat measurements to confirm the surgical plan, and the technicians/medical assistants were great about reinforcing the postoperative plan and making sure I had all questions answered. The surgery went exactly as expected, and I was discharged same day. For your postop day 1 visit, the main goals are to test your visual acuity and make sure that the flap looks intact (for LASIK). I had 20:20 vision on post-op day 1, with some minor foreign body sensation that is very normal after surgery and has resolved quickly with continued use of artificial tears after surgery.A few months out from surgery now, my vision has continued to be 20:20, and have had overall minimal problems/symptoms, and I can rely on the office being available for any postop questions. Would recommend again.

Amazing experience from start to finish. Very professional and clear with the expectations and what you need to do for the procedure to go well. Continued to support me afterwards with any questions I had. Couldn't be more pleased with the results!
