Meet Dr. Arrigg
Dr. Claudia A. Arrigg is a highly trained board-certified specialist in cataracts, glaucoma and laser surgery. After receiving her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine and a Master’s degree in Education from Harvard University, she completed an ophthalmology residency at Harvard Medical School. She then furthered her training for an additional two years at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary subspecializing in cataracts, the medical and surgical management of glaucoma and laser surgery.
She has served as President of Arrigg Eye Associates, has extensive clinical and surgical experience and is committed to providing the highest level of ocular health for all her patients. She has conducted glaucoma and pharmacologic research, lectured nationally and authored a number of articles and book chapters. In addition, Dr. Arrigg teaches physicians in the Greater Lawrence Family Medical Residency Program at Lawrence General Hospital.
In her professional capacity, Dr. Arrigg has served as Director of the Eye Service at Bunker Hill Health Center, Chief of Ophthalmology at both the Lawrence General Hospital and Holy Family Hospital, and is currently Vice President of the Cataract and Laser Center in Andover, MA. She is a dedicated member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, New England Ophthalmological Society, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, Massachusetts Medical Society and the Massachusetts Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons.
She has also been active in her community as an Alumni Trustee of Phillips Academy, Board of Trustees of East Rock Institute, and Chair of the Annual Giving Board and Director of the Abbot Academy Association.
Dr. Arrigg’s personal interests include CrossFit, skiing, hiking, gardening and reading. She and her husband are the proud parents of three children.
