She then moved to Boston to attend the New England College of Optometry and received her Doctorate in Optometry in 2010. She performed various clinical rotations at Perkins School for the Blind, Jamaica Plain VA and various community health centers around the greater Boston area.
Dr. Dunker then completed her residency in primary eye care and ocular pathology from the Jamaica Plain Veterans Administration. Outside of the eye clinic, Dr. Dunker enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 children and dog. She spends much of her free time toting the kids around to various activities but makes time for her own interests, including dancing and knitting/crocheting. She is an avid reader but loves being outdoors walking in the woods or working in the garden.
