What is the EVO ICL?

The EVO ICL is an implantable Collamer lens that is used to correct your vision and reduce glasses dependence. This refractive procedure can correct both nearsightedness (myopia) and myopic astigmatism. The ICL is a great option for those unable to undergo LASIK surgery for a variety of reasons. The most common reasons include thin corneas, high prescription, irregular corneas, or dry eyes. The lens implant is made of a unique material that contains collagen, meaning it is made to be in harmony with your eye. The EVO implantable Collamer lenses also offer UV protection for your eyes as well.

The artificial lens is placed behind the cornea and iris but in front of your natural crystalline lens.

At Boston Vision, we offer this revolutionary technology to help our patients achieve excellent vision and glasses independence. The procedure is typically painless with the use of numbing eye drops and takes less than 30 minutes.

Benefits of the EVO ICL Procedure
