It has taken me approximately 20 years to build up the courage to get LASIK. Im excited to share that I finally got some sense knocked into me and completed LASIK yesterday. Nervous? I cannot even begin to tell you how nervous I was. Dr. Brenner and his team instantly calmed me down. The procedure itself was less than 2 mins. Maybe even less, honestly. The build up and pre-op testing is worse than the actual procedure. I did mono-vision so Im still adjusting to that aspect but I had my follow up this morning and everything is looking good. Vision is a little blurry but definitely better than it was and feels like its improving. Pain? None. Legitimately, I felt nothing before, during or after. The worst thing I felt was a little sting in my eye that lasted 2secs and was a 3 on 1-10 scale. If youre considering doing this, go! Call Dr. Brenner. Hes a great guy and did a great job. Him and his team will make you feel just a great as youll be able to see.
