Getting Lasik at Boston Laser is an impersonal but professional experience. They do tons of surgeries and keep things moving along quickly, so it felt a bit like being in a Lasik factory - they whisk you in and out of various rooms - but everyone I interacted with was perfectly pleasant, and I trusted them to do a good job with the surgery.

I went for a free lasik consultation today and I was so excited to come home and give them a 5 stars review on Yelp. I also recommended this place to all my Facebook friends. Although I am not a good candidate for lasik or even PRK, I highly recommend this place to anyone who is interested in getting lasik. It's doesn't hurt to get a free consultation but remember to always have a second opinion. Dr. Melki gave me that honest second opinion. He advised that PRK is a good procedure for the good eye but it's not worth it to take the risk since one of my eyes have really bad vision and the procedure will not be able to fix it. So the risk is higher for me than a regular candidate.... Anyway...I have a few tips below for anyone who is interested in the free consultation. 1. Book online. It's fast and easy. 2. Plenty of meter parking. Just make sure you bring lots of quarters. 12 min for each quarter. It's 3 hours max. 3. Two hours for the consultation. There was no delay issue with my appointment. 4. Bring a pair of sunglasses if you're wearing contact lens. It helps because you will get dilated. Overall, I can't say much about this place except it's clean, professional and they have great medical ethic.

It's been 4 weeks since my laser eye surgery and it was one of the best decisions of my life! Choosing Boston laser was an easy choice...from the consultation to recovery everyone was fantastic! The entire staff here amazing... so patient and knowledgeable. Every appointment I had ran on time which is always a bonus! Plenty of metered street parking any time of day was available. Highly recommend! Definitely choose Boston laser!

I had a consultation with a less reputable LASIK center about a year ago, truth be told the price came in lower than Boston Laser but everything about it seemed sketchy (my entire eye exam was about 8 minutes and felt like something done in a middle school gym class performed by a salesman.) I held out, saved a little more and came to Boston Laser. The experience and expertise was evident and reassuring (although I did get hit with a gimmicky sales pitch anyway, although I already had made up my mind before that happened.) 10 days out now and my vision has been great since the procedure. I've had barely any side effects (halos lasted only two days, nothing other than that.) So far I can say I'm very happy with the results!
